Elitism is the ugliness aspect of our society in America. It is the very thing that our forefathers sought to escape by coming here. A Harvard MBA doe’s not make you better than anyone else, including that guy panhandeling on the street corner. Infact many homeless people are that way because they are so smart that they cant make it in our world. Intillect and education are entirely different things, I have a few customers that have Phd’s , outside of their area of expertise they are complete idiots that cant think their way out of a paper bag. So if your blessed with having a top noch education from one of these school…good for you, but it does not make you special. Infact the onley persons in this country that can be refered to as elite are the Marines and Soldiers that have sacrificed to make it possible for you to get that education. If you can read thank a teacher…if it’s in english thank a Marine !

Well, the Yahoo articles themselves are usually pretty neutral. They sometimes tend to have a left wing bias (I’ve yet to see a post with a right wing agenda), but it’s the people who comment that give Yahoo News that Republican party sheen.</p>

<p>It’s disheartening, really, to see so many people with as much intelligence and open mindedness as a used paper towel.</p>
