Harvard’s acceptance rate dipped below 7% this year!!
I wonder how low Yale’s is going to be this year…

At the pace Harvard’s acceptance rate keeps decreasing, we may see it hit 1% in the near future, if not lower. LOL.

Although this was the nation’s largest graduating class, so maybe the acceptance rate will stagnate, or slightly creep back up. But still…that’s quite an impressive feat.

I think they do . . . I wonder if they enjoy it . . .

This time tomorrow, we’ll know. Best of luck to everybody!

I don’t think Yale has released it’s data yet. Although I wish they would. I’m dying to know what their acceptance rate this year was.

I think I have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than getting into Yale.

-knocks on wood-

In that case.
Pomona (or UVa if financial aid doesn’t come through) HERE I COME!

PS. Pomona is my dream school. Just, I’d be crazy not to consider Yale if accepted.

really?
earlier this year we calculated it to be more like 4.5% RD

Jesus Christ.
That lessens my hopes even more so. Hahaha.

haha, all the hope inside me just died

I just burst out in laughter after seeing that 4.5%. There is no way I’m getting in.

So a 5.5%?
Still not doing anything to ease my fears.

I’m inspired by your optimism Handala92!

Thank goodness nobody called for my most recent grades, at least I don’t think they did, because senioritis is really starting to show up in my transcript.

My semester grades were impressive, but after the end of the second semester, my grades have been falling. Let’s just say there’s a few things lower than a B. Ooops. Oh well, I still have two weeks to pick’em back up. :)

Well, I just got a rejection from JHU to match yesterday’s Duke decision. I should just give up now. At least I have Vandy. :/

Maybe you’re what Yale is looking for, but not what JHU and Duke are looking for. :)

@sillyaardvark, Exactly!

Maybe it’s a sign :D

@lovely10,

I’m feeling your pain. I didn’t get rejected, but JHU waitlisted me today. :(

21 hours… oh my god…

would it be better to check online, or wait for the small envelope?

I’m counting down the hours now. It’s pathetic.

Our val last year got into Harvard and got denied by gtown, jhu, duke, gw, etc. (I’m guessing yield protection) so don’t think its over till its over!
how is that even possible?! he mustve had like a completely different app for harvard lol

and fyi gtown, JHU, and duke do NOT do yield protection
