I’ve got direct experience with a student-athlete at Yale who is pre-med. PM me for info if you wish. Summary: class/lab scheduling hasn’t been a problem (instructors often ask which students need specific lab times and then place them appropriately) and she’s treated with respect, as are all students, in her experience. No regrets about this decision.

Hey, I know anecdotes don’t tell the whole story, but if you’re a kid (or the parent of a kid) trying to sort out which Ivy to go to for strong academics and athletics, there isn’t a clear winner. Your child will be proud to wear any one of these uniforms, and even if they finish at the bottom of the league, they are going to hold their head high. Of this I have no doubt.

Our student loves the team and coaches and feels couldn’t have found better anywhere. Very happy in navy blue/white. Over the moon happy with the academics, team, roommate, dorm, food, social life etc etc…
Wouldn’t trade it for any place else…

Just found the article interesting…and am disappointed to hear about “some profs”…and have to wonder what subjects “they teach” and would those classes have been something my student would have taken if available at another hour…
