Yale Bulldog Days

Is BDD a good representation of Yale? I heard they go to great lengths to beautify the campus and prepare good food? I'm definitely not complaining :D but I do want to know if BDD is or is not an accurate representation of what Yale is actually like.

Thanks!

I would say that it’s representative, but exaggerated, because of the number of things crammed into a couple of days.

The campus is beautiful…always.
And the food is really good.
Is it kicked up a notch–maybe…

If you “like” Yale and the YDN on FB, you will see regular pics on campus …
and you can go to the dining section of the website to see the menu to get an idea of the typical fare.

My daughter went to BDD last year and was struck by how friendly everyone was, how beautiful the campus was and how good the food was. This even made her a little suspicious that it was all put on for BDD. Finishing up her freshman year she says everyone is just as friendly now as then, the campus is still as beautiful and even the food is great. So even though things may be busier during the week than normal at BDD you will get a good feel for what Yale is like. Good luck with your decision
