My UW GPA is a 3.75. I have the privilege of going to the best public high school in the state with the best cross country team in new england. I plan on having taken 6 honors and 12 AP courses at the end of senior year. I have also gotten A's in three courses that I've taken at a local university during summers. The summer before junior year i studied abroad in France. I'll be in NHS. My SAT scores are M 780 CR 740 WR 680. These are my ECs:
Freshman year: JV cross country, JV indoor track, JV outdoor track, gay straight alliance, cello, volunteering club
Sophomore year: JV cross country, JV indoor track, JV outdoor track, gay straight alliance, volunteering club, hospital volunteering, debate team, math team
Junior year: JV cross country, Varsity indoor track, Varsity outdoor track, president of gay straight alliance, hospital volunteering, summer fast food job, volunteering club, math team

My school doesn't do ranking.
Would applying to top schools like Yale be worth my time? Thanks so much.

But you’ve only finished your Fr year according to other posts. Please present yourself fully. Your online integrity goes a long way here. People want to help but don’t shortchange us.

If what was said above is true ^^, then I’m wondering also whether you’ve already taken the SAT, or whether you predicted your scores based on PSAT results or practice tests you’ve taken. I would warn you that there is not really an accurate way of predicting what your scores will be, since the SAT and PSAT are different enough that many people who do well on one may have less stellar performance on the other. The format and the types of questions asked are similar, but other things get to people like difference in duration, the presence of the essay on the SAT, etc.

@T26E4 Where did you see that the OP is a rising sophomore? He/she only has 5 posts that I saw and all of them were consistent.

Just had a situation where I was PM’ing a kid that recently appeared in the Harvard threads because I was going to offer some suggestions. After going back and forth, it turned out that 75% of what he had posted was a complete fabrication. He just kept going deeper and deeper into his imaginary world until I made him come clean. It is very frustrating because we are taking the time to actually try to help these kids but they think nothing of wasting our time with a bunch of statistics or EC’s that they only wish they can or could have achieved.

^^ Oops sorry, I missed OP’s last post. He/she IS a sophomore. Same type of situation I encountered with the other kid except this one will probably claim that his younger sibling or friend is also using his/her account. That’s what usually happens when they’re called out.

^^^ One of the reasons I take results threads with a grain of salt. Before actually believing that so and so is accepted, I usually check thoroughly to see if the person is consistent and honest. I would advise others to do the same.
