I remember you from the Duke ED thread… You seemed to feel that Yale would be a better fit for you, so try to remember that! Be confident… there is nothing else to be done at this point and you’ve done all you can so try not to spend this next month feeling nervous and chewing off appendages! Have faith!!

@CantConcentrate I’m from MS and I haven’t received an interview email yet, but my friend (also from MS) has and will interview on Thursday. I will update you as soon as I find out more information!

Has anyone also heard whether Yale does not give high preference for intl applicants for SCEA? S applied and heard this from coworker but have no way of verifying. Hope its just a rumor but then again MIT discourages intl students from ED.

I have an interview tomorrow!!!
My teacher rec status still hasn’t changed, but my ACT hasn’t been updated yet either so I can wait before I entirely STRESS…

For you guys who’ve gotten interviews already, did you submit your apps really early? I submitted on Nov. 5th, (hurricane impacted area), and I haven’t gotten contacted yet. (I’m in NJ.)

Just had my interview… It went really well, the woman was someone I got on really easily with. I said some weird things, I know that, especially when asked Why Yale? (Why didn’t I mention residential colleges???) Anyway it’s nothing to worry about, mine was definitely a conversation and not an interrogation :)

Colleges starting to release their early applicant numbers. I secretly hope Yale’s has fallen, but chances are that it’s permissiveness about test score submission and non-ED status will contribute to a boost.

@Greenroses I am on the same boat! and im totally worried that I will not get an interview, but does anyone know when like the latest date for an interview might be?
