Does anyone know which Ivies don’t consider freshman grades? I just heard that Stanford does not, is that correct?

This might be the first weekend ever that I want to hurry through.
2 days, 21 hours, 5 minutes #countdownclock

Does anyone have any tips on how to relax or manage to survive this weekend? I never thought that my anxiety level could be this high…

It’s official, 11 kids in my class are going EA to harvard.

This wait is killing me.

How many were rejected?

@ticolette I just try to occupy myself with work :P

Does anyone know what one should do before opening a suggestion? Is it better to be alone or with others? I really don’t know lol. I think I’ll be too scared to even click. I’ll need something to calm me down…

@Eric, most were deferred. 25-30 applied EA.

I was able to not active a NetID with my Eli login either. Has anyone been able to do so?

^No. I think someone would have said something already if it did work. We’ll just have to wait it out

Lol there’s a facebook group for the yale class of 2018

^ 2 days, 18 hours, and 16 minutes, to be exact. I can’t believe the admit rate for EA at Harvard was 21% this year!!! It seems too good to be true… I hope Yale is so generous.

guys I am literally shaking I am so nervous

I doubt it’ll be 5:00. I know that might have been it in years past, but multiple schools (including harvard) have gone from 5 to 3 this year for whatever reason.

So where are you guys from? I applied biomed engineering from Long Island.

Really?! Because of the time difference, should I get up earlier to check?
OMG, so nervous

Was harvard originally 5? It seems like the harvard kids expected decisions at 3

@x3Strawb3rry - from what I have heard, just make sure you are calm before hand. Don’t open with friends, in person or online - that is bound to make for awkward moments for someone. If you are interested, you can film your reaction in case there is good news :D

My own personal tactics:
~Surround myself with fruit and tissues. Stress relief is always done best with healthy food You feel less guilty later.

It is so hard seeing everyone being accepted while you are still waiting for decisions. I wish everyone luck.

Is it true that if you get rejected and don’t check your results within 72 hours, you get an email and letter about rejection? I don’t really want to be reminded XD (this is old: [Rejection letters go paperless | Yale Daily News](Rejection letters go paperless - Yale Daily News))

they usually come out between 4 and 5? I think.

My two-cents would be to simply try to relax these last few days, give yourself a break from the school work I’m sure you all have been occupied with the last few months. After all, there’s not much you can do these last few days; worrying won’t magically increase your chances.
I know that’s much easier said than done, so what I’m personally doing is occupying myself with a whole bunch of nothing (i.e. youtube videos, movies, reading buzzfeed, etc.) to get my mind off, especially since I’m an international student so I’ll find out a day later than most of you guys here The anticipation!
Here are some links to websites that I’ve been procrastinating on:
