By incredible, what do you exactly mean? 2400 SAT, 45 IB?

i just got my interview request on Thanksgiving day actually! it’s in 3 days at my school’s athletic facility and i’m quite nervous, but happy about getting an interview still haven’t gotten an eli account though, and i’ve checked spam, etc. i put molecular/cellular and developmental biology as major and art history as other interest/alternate, and my second choices are: vassar, occidental, haverford, skidmore (applying to lots of schools i like too many things)

@chncsy Do you think they look at the early RD apps from the same school while looking at the SCEA apps to compare?

There are 3 others applying early from my school…

@apesrocks I certainly hope not. I don’t know exactly who applied from my school because I found out through naviance.

@chncsy Where on Naviance did you see this year’s applicant info?

@anon029 My naviance says that two people from my class applied. But when you click school stats you see how many applied early. I’m second person from my school to apply early since 2011 and it says only two people have ever applied early so I deduced that the other applicant is RD.

Sometimes I wish my new school used Naviance like my old school did. Sometimes.

Kind of late to be joining this thread, but hey y’all! I applied EA too
I’m honestly expecting deferral/rejection (though I heard most kids get deferred, not rejected), so I’m trying not to get my hopes up. My birthday is a couple of days after decisions, and it would really suck to have a depressing, rejection-tempered birthday lmao.

@minastirith Hahaha it’s kind of unfair that you know my identity but I don’t know yours even though I have a pretty good guess about who you are. And @chives123, kaisa hai Fudge? Sab set? Baray dinon se school nahin aaya.

@emenya Good luck tomorrow. Maybe you’ll be the first Nigerian admit of Yale 2019. :)>-

@chncsy Lol thank you! I hope I am as well

Yay @marshmallowpop joined the train!

Hey guys, just so you know, I sent my November SAT II score a couple of days after the scores had come out, and Yale has updated them on my account. For anyone who thought it might have been too late, it wasn’t. :)

Dang, I need to brush up on my Urdu skills to have secret conversations with @nausherwan96
Desi aunties around the world are dismayed by my inability to speak urdu hahaha.
Good luck, @emenya!

Yes he did. I made sure to write down all the info he needed. He even gave me the proof of fax thing which showed that he put it all down. @emenya

Glad to see several Pakistanis here I’m from Bangladesh. We’re all competing in the same pool for Internationals by region. Fingers crossed for the best.

Btw does anyone know how many international students Yale accepts in EA round?

I’ve just read an article that last year, there were around 4800 early applicants of whom around 750 got accepted. Usually the rate of acceptance is around 18% for SCEA. It also says that the perfect 2019 class size would be around 1,350. Wishing good lucky to yall!

Admissions decisions seem so close yet so far away. I don’t know if I’m going to make it to December 16th!

Which course did you apply for?

I applied for physics and mathematics.

I applied for economics.
