Names and contact info get sent to area alum groups without review for content. Our area started having assignments 2.5 weeks ago. But i’ d say most have not yet been assigned. But EVERY SINGLE APPLICANT should face the possibility of no interview due to lack of volunteer slots. But this is random and not indicative of your eventual outcome. Every year, some admits never get intreviewed
My daughter submitted her application last Wednesday night and was contacted by email for an interview this afternoon. I’m sure you’ll all be hearing soon if there’s someone in your area available to do interviews.

So how does everyone feel about the Dec. 15 decision date? What will you be doing then?
Its a good date, nothing wrong with Dec 15. Maybe if it was Dec 25, then Santa could bring my acceptance letter. I’ll probably be up all night on the 14th waiting for the letter(despite the fact that decisions are out in the evening).
If they decide to let out decisions closer to the afternoon times, then I would be in school. Otherwise I would be locked in my room, waiting…
Should I be worried if my one of my recs hasn’t submitted yet?
@letmeseetheworld I don’t think so. On the website, they say that “We understand that it may not be possible in some cases for teachers and counselors to meet these deadlines, and we will make reasonable allowances. This will not negatively impact your chance of admission.”
I think that 2-5 days late is reasonable

Sorry about the double post, but were anyone’s SAT scores from May/June 2015 received yet? My portal says only January SAT scores were received so far – I also have ones from May and June.

Submitted my app on 31 October. So far my portal, email received two days later, says all documents have been received. I’m guessing being from Arizona and an accordion player may not get an early LL or interview unfortunately…on to the wait. Good luck everyone.
