i cant seem to fine Yale's early action statistics
does anyone have a link they are willing to share
i am looking for if it is economical to apply early action yale
thanks

more people get accepted EA, but there is more competition for EA. EA acceptance is about 18%, and RD acceptance is about 6%, from what i've heard.. Yes, EA has more competition, but the odds are still in your favor... Yale's overall acceptance is somwhere around 9.5%

and in terms economically, you'll still be considered for yale's financial aid package (so long as you do the required forms for financial aid).. and since yale is EA (SCEA, but still nonetheless EA), you don't have to make your decision to go there or not until May 1 if you do get accepted.. so it's always advantageous to go EA or SCEA to your schools.. ED is a little different because it's binding and you have to reply before January 1 (or somewhere around that time)... but for EA, you still have all the way to May to reply back

Go back a few pages on this forum. There's a link with the official statistics.
