Yale Essay won't upload..

<p>I've been trying for about an hour, but my Yale supplement "Required" essay won't upload properly. It keeps telling me "Error uploading file. Please try again." Now my application is late =/ How do I resolve this? I've tried submitting on 2 different computers.</p>

I'm stressing out because my whole application is late too and it was the last thing I needed to upload!</p>

relax and exit out of the document
and then upload it</p>

<p>mine did the same thing. I logged out of commonapp and signed back in, and this seemed to do the trick. hope this helps.</p>

I've tried changing the file type, file name, exiting the browser, nothing works</p>

I just kept trying and it finally went through!
Only took over an hour, but it's done with so there's nothing I can do about it.
Hopefully the admins understand that there are Common App problems :/

<p>I logged out and then back in and continue to experience this problem.</p>

<p>You could try converting it to a PDF and then uploading it - that worked for me when I was having trouble!</p>

<p>I think it's a general common app problem -- I tried uploading Macalester's supplement essay, didn't work.
Changed it into PDF, Word 2003 format, logged out and in, etc. but still didn't work. -.-
Common App should stop being so error-filled...</p>

<p>If you have dial-up, try clicking off-line and then clicking back on. I was having problems, too, but I logged out of Common App, disconnected and then reconnected to the Internet, and then it worked fine. Good luck!</p>
