Yale-NUS College Class of 2022

@arkem111 Yes, I did, I think in like 4 days after I submitted my app, even before my SAT scores arrived at their office. What about you?

not yet :s

@momentousmeerkat maybe I didn’t show any interest and applied through yale

@xbaknamx were you asked to submit additional FA documents? If yes, when?

@xbaknamx Hey! As a current student who applied FA and did not get asked for additional documents, I can safely say that it doesn’t mean anything with regard to your admission!

ugh that’s good news, I got so anxious. @sghml9

Guys, so no interview = rejection?

@mmstanfordbound Could be deferred to Round 2 maybe? The interview invite email said interview is required to be considered for admissions.

@mmstanfordbound yeap, what @BarryA said is right. I checked with an admissions counselor from YNC and she said that they’ll definitely get back to you, and you might get put on the waitlist/deferred to round 2!

Oh, thank you guys @BarryA @achilleees

@mmstanfordboud I saw your post on Northeastern Univ. CC site - congratulations on the those acceptances! We also have an accept from NEU but are holding our breath for YNC! A lot is going to happen in the next two weeks. Its been very competitive this year and I’m sure everyone here is going to have some great options which hopefully includes YNC! :-SS

@Scrambled88 Thank you!! Best of luck for YNC!!

Well good luck to everyone waiting! Just reading posts from so many helpful people has made me realize what a great class YNC is going to have this fall! Whether I get in or not - it’s the best for both the college as well as me.
Good luck again!

@bogeyorpar I applied for that pathway after my first interview. And a few days later I was shortlisted for an interview with this pathway. Did you apply for this pathway?

Hey! New to this forum! Did anyone else get interviewed for the Duke-NUS Medical Pathway programme?

Hi! Has anyone heard about decisions date yet?

@amendoim based on the past two years, portals may be updated 3/21 or 3/22. Packages would arrive a little later.

With Class of 2021, their EYW was on the 21st of April, and their decisions came out 23rd of March. Thats a difference of 27 days.
With class of 2020, their EYW was on the 15th of April, and their decisions came out the 21st of March. That’s a difference of 25 days.
With class of 2019, their EYW was on April 10th, and their decisions came out on the 20th of March, which is a difference of 21 days.
With class of 2018, their EYW was on April 10th as well, and their decisions came out on the 20th, which is a difference of 21 days as well.

So by these calculations, the average time between the EYW and the decision date is 24 days. We should be expecting the decisions next week around the 21st. (Pure speculation, had some time on my hands)

My guess is we hear on the 23rd (same as last year). I’m thinking they want to see the complete pool for the second round which closes out on the 20th. They probably want a few days to look over the last few applications that come in on the deadline before drawing the line for acceptances in the first round. Just a guess, but I bet they have never announced the first batch of acceptances before the second round has closed.

It must be this WEEK!
My guess is 22nd
