@gogo2002 cool! thank youu! you too
Just sent again a while ago. Thanks
Hey thanks! Do you know what should I do that I don’t have predicted scores but I have mid year report?
I requested my school to send me the predicted scores. Try contacting your school maybe?
“We will require you to submit transcripts from Grade 9 – 11, including the mid-year and predicted grades for Grade 12.” this was the reply by the admissions team
When i uploaded the transcripts i did not send in my mid term report, but have asked my school to include it when they submit the trancripts.
Gotcha thankssssss!
suree! good luck
Did any Indians/Internationals get their interview yet? If so, how did you apply to Yale-NUS and when. All the best guys!
I am from India, and I haven’t. I was applying to Yale, and opted for the Singapore opportunity thingy.
I am an international student from Europe, and I was invited for the interview today. I applied to Yale on the 28th of December and chose to share my application with Yale-NUS.
Heyy if you guys don’t mind me asking what curriculum does your school follow and where are you all from?
Hi! I am from Russia and I attend a school which is a part of a university (selective). Since the university goes with liberal arts education, we have something like that too. I study with math major but we still have theory of knowledge classes and etc. Not international school.
Hi! I am a local applicant (RD 1) and my school followed the IB programme :))
Hey, I am from India and follow the ISC Curriculum. Till grade 10 I had the ICSE Curriculum.
Hey everyone! Did anyone of you apply for Fin Aid? And @spinachbrain211 do you have any vague ideas about the max coverage merit scholarships can give? Please let me know asap ;(
I applied too. The interviewer said that they are pretty generous with fin aid, but I don’t know what that actually means
Okay thanks man
Nice! All the best for your interview and do let us know how it goes!

Huh, I just went onto their website and I saw that they have removed detailed information about merit scholarships. There used to be a comprehensive table about it. The last time I saw that table, the jackpot merit scholarship covered 100% of tuition and fees, plus a one-time 2000 SGD computer fund, plus 3500 SGD per year of pocket money, and 10k SGD of foreign exchange fund. The second best one covers 100% of tuition and fees. The remaining options were sums of money that ranged from 10k to 25k, I think. I’m sure about the first two, but I have a very foggy memory about the other ones. I think they changed the finaid and scholarship scheme from last year to this year, so I’m honestly not sure, but the SG gov does offer something called the tuition grant, and that cuts off a lot of money. I know of people who got almost a free ride combining their TG cut and finaid.

The merit scholarships are pretty hard to get, especially the bigger ones. I know of amazing people who applied and didn’t get any. I myself didn’t get any scholarships either. You need to truly have done some phenomenal social work or something really impactful for your community to get those awards.

From past years’ threads, I found out that a lot of people who got the jackpot scholarship got deferred first?? Yeah, I don’t know what that was, but I saw that happen.

YNC revised their finances from last year to this year, so anything that I say out of experience might be completely false and not applicable for this year. Last year they were need blind, this year apparently not?
