<p>Hi, can anyone tell me about Yale's premed program and how it compares to those of WashU and Duke? Thanks :)</p>
<p>There is no dedicated pre-med program since Yale College is focused on BA or BS conferrals. Those attending who wish to apply to med school afterwards are given guidance on which classes are pre-reqs to med school admissions. Graduates from Yale who go onto Med school major in a variety of areas including many non-science majors. That being said, it's recognized that the undergraduate education at Yale is top shelf. </p>
<p>My question to you would be: what do you want to study while your at college? It can't be "Medicine" so will it be Biology? Chemistry? Music Performance? Drama? Choose the school that can provide you with that first, worry about Med School later.</p>
