Yale? (Probably not I'm guessing)

Ok so, I'm from Ohio and from a High School ranking around 250th in the nation.

I also did a 6-week college program at Miami, where I took 2 college classes (Psychology 111 and Computer Programming 251), slept at the dorms and lived there, and now have guaranteed Admission to Miami because of it.

Your GPA is a bit low. If you are a strong enough swimmer to compete in college, that may help.

I dont plan on swimming in college. Do i have any chance? And if i do ROTC will that help?

Here’s info on Yale and ROTC: [Yale ROTC - Reserve Officers Training Corps](<a href=“Welcome | Reserve Officers Training Corps and Military Educational Assistance”>Welcome | Reserve Officers Training Corps and Military Educational Assistance)
I don’t really know, but I doubt if planning to do this would help with Yale admissions. I think you have the stats to apply to very selective schools, but you need to have a list of places including some that are less selective–reaches, matches, and safeties.

Yale isn’t the only school I’m applying to.
I’ve applied to USC, Miami of Ohio, and OSU.

Can anyone give me a legit answer?

If you really want a better read on your chances, go read the results threads from the last couple of years. I think that you will find that some students with your qualifications get in, but many are also rejected. Most admitted students have a higher GPA than you have (assuming you are not a minority student).
