yale resume

help! any harm not attaching an extra resume (ie only filling in the boxes on page 3 of common app)?

I am short of time and my resume looks weird in the table form [Yale says on its website that an attached resume has to be in the same format as the table (on the common app)]. Having said that, i need more space to include e.g the Aids talk i gave to children/ fund raising acitvies i have been involved in etc... What should i do?

some of my frineds included stuff like participation in tsunami sponsored walk in their resumes. i would think that's unnecessary unless i PLANNED the event, correct? how about marginal cases such as school yearbook page designer/ leadership camp or reading club member? (again, these are one-off activities that would look weird in the table..)

thank you!!!

I agree that one-off activities should not be included unless you took a leadership role. It makes it seem like you are desperate to have a long list instead of being confident in the activities you have pursued in depth.

thank you admissions addict! Its just so hard to strike the balance.

any more advice? please....
