I believe literacy is essential to success in any endeavor (not to mention I love to read!) and as a result most of my extracurricular activities are based on literacy.
I am founder and president two years running of Book Club.
I am vice president of New York Street, a club that promotes literacy.
I volunteered 75 hours at the local library, New York Regional, with a focus in the juvenile sections.
I am secretary of Beta Honor Club.
Last year, I was vice president of Science Honor Club and test coordinator of Mu Alpha Theta.
I have also been a member of: National Honor Society, French Honor Society, and The National Society of High School Scholars. Next week is the first club meeting, so I wont know for sure until then; however, I will be running again for vice president of Science Club and president of French Honor Society. Wish me luck!</p>
