Yale School of Drama

I will be a freshman in college this fall majoring in theatre-acting. I want to apply to Yale School of Drama for graduate school, which I know won't be for another 3-4 years but I would like to gather as much info as I can now. If anyone has gone there or knows someone who has gone there or just knows anything about the program I would love to hear your stories.

I was also wondering if anyone knows what kind of students they look for. Do they base mostly your audition or do they look for someone with good grades? I'm sure they would like both but I'm just wondering what things they focus on the most when deciding whether or not to accept you. I know Yale is very competitive and I'd like to try and be on top of my game.

Not a single reply? Darn.

You should post your question in the Yale forum - you’re more likely to find someone who knows something about it there.

Admission is by audition and extremely competitive.

You need to go to the Yale Drama Graduate Admissions website and check the requirements.
