Yale supplement, complete sentences?

Hello! For the 25 word "short takes," must I use complete sentences?

I don’t believe it’s absolutely necessary; a good number of people end up realizing a question can be answered more completely if they just answer in fragments.

With that said, I still used complete sentences. It really depends on what you want to say.

I just remember my daughter’s response to “what inspires you?” Her answer was “an impending deadline”. (her app was submitted on the due date. And yes, she got in).

thank you!

Hello,
What about the “Why Yale” part? Do I have to write the reasons in complete sentences, or I can just write a list (using bullet points, etc…)?

Personally on the Why Yale thing I think that a more formal “essay” style is appropriate. You want to sound passionate, not like you’ve made lists for your different colleges and Yale had more “bullet points” in favor so that’s why you want to go.
