anyone rejected?

I got rejected too.

Sorry to hear. Are you in the US or internationals?

Me too. Yay

international…

I shouldn’t have posted this.
I feel so bad…

I think this is the oddest thread ever.

Where are you guys getting these?

I am international student who lives in USA. Are you guys getting this info from where??? email or from My.wellesley website?

I got an e-mail from wellesley on March 16
it says:
As a candidate for admission to Wellesley College, we write to inform you that applicants attending secondary school outside of the United States will be notified of their decisions online through their MyWellesley portal on Wednesday, March 23. Please note that you will not be able to view your online decision until 5 pm Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday.

I guess it’s only for international students(the decision was posted at 5o’clock.)
It was really…cool… that the decision was not out when I checked at 4:59 and at 5:00 it was there.
good luck

Mildly curious…why are you happy to be rejected?

my sister got rejected too…hopefully she gets into Smith. And yes she is an international. Is there a chance that she might get into smith? I have heard that smith and wellesley try to “trade” international students. Sometimes if Smith wants a student they will ask wellesley to give them the student and vice versa? Possible or is it even a rumor?

International from Singapore here~

"Thank you for your application to Wellesley College. The Board of Admission has completed its deliberations and regrets to inform you that we cannot offer you a place in the Class of 2015. Your application was carefully reviewed and we recognized your many accomplishments. Most of our applicants had excellent high school records and outstanding personal qualities. We simply did not have room for all of the superb students who applied to Wellesley this admission season.

Please note that this is the only notification you will receive of your decision and that all decisions of the Wellesley Board of Admission are final. We appreciate the time and care you took in providing us with your credentials and wish you success as you pursue your education."

I woke up at 5am to read this rejection letter >< Well, congrats to the international FA applicants that got in! :):)

waitlisted.

ha I’m also rejected. Misery needs company:)

It seems like a high number of internationals are being rejected. Could this have something to do with the financial aid aspect? I know most schools are need aware for intl. students.

got rejected as well!
I’m also an international… haha

International student rejected here! I don’t feel sad because at least I have tried. My school is pretty competitive but no one gets in. That’s strange… Anyway, there’ll be more college news in the following days so cheer up! It’s just college, one tiny tiny part of your life. We’ll still be happy in some other schools! :D

where are you guys from?

I’m international too but I live in the US so i’m still waiting on it :/

i’m an international and I was waitlisted
