YAY!!!!! Yes, Yes, Yes!

As you may know, I applied to EPGY...and as you probably don't know, I was rejected. (I think it was my age..they wanted 10th graders, not 9th graders).

However, I got into a local community college- one of the best community colleges in U.S., too! =) They were going to accept me into this program in which younger kids can take credit class- yes, one class, 3 units.

However, I talked to the counselor, showed him my scores, essays, etc., and got in as a regular student. I'll be taking 9 units this semester and will be taking 12 or more in the winter semester.

I'll still be registered as a homeschooler, though.

Wish me luck!

Congratulations, FindaWay, and I certainly do wish you good luck!

You mentioned scores - just for the record, would you like to tell us which stats you submitted? I'm not asking what your scores were, rather which tests you took. Did you end up taking the GED test? Did you take SAT's or any other tests?

No GED, but SAT and SSAT.

Congratulations! Glad you found a way to learn what you want to learn! My sons both took some cc classes in high school and found them to be quite good.
