A question for all the alums,

Did you get a yearbook while you were at Wellesley? Was it worth it?

I feel like a yearbook is more of a high school thing, but it will be my senior year so it might be memorable to get one..maybe.

Senior year, yes.

I know of someone who got the Legenda before senior year. While it would be interesting to have all four books, I can say without going into specifics that the book I saw that year was not worth it.

HOWEVER

I really liked the 2008 Legenda because the person who did it (and I believe she was either '10 or '11 and may still be involved with Legenda) did a very nice job of representing a fragmented and diverse campus in the book by giving events, clubs, groups and teams the spotlight. My mother and sister were both involved with yearbooks at the elementary and high school level. I’ve seen a lot of books, and that legend was really good. It’s really neat to read. I did not bother having people sign it, though iirc it came out in time to do so.

I think the quality of Legenda varies widely with the person who makes it. If any of the people who were major players in the 2008 book (or their proteges) are still around, order a senior yearbook. Also, if you can get an 08 legenda on the cheap, it’s well worth it.
