Yes, another chance me post on ED. PLEASE HELP

I have heard of Tufts being an exceptional place for Bio majors. I want to go into biological sciences or biomed engineering. Definitely a minor or something like that in public/global health. FOR SURESIES gonna go pre-med, that's not even a question.

Here are my stats. Would I make it?

founding president of Girls Who Code (getting underrepresented people, mostly women, into computer science)
-AP Classes and an advanced form of the IB program in which I have already received my diploma
-2100 SAT and will be taking SAT II in bio, mathii, and spanish
-founding president of global health coalition between 3 schools in my city, partnered with world-renowned research mentors and institutions, all to get high schoolers interested in making a difference in the global health community and taking on a global perspective to issues
-coach of unified soccer, a faction of special olympics to teach disabled students soccer and sportsmanship
-7 years of premiere (highest club level) soccer
-soccer captain
-member of all the classic high-achieving student clubs (key club, national honors society, blah blah blah)
-two years of varsity gymnastics, four years of varsity soccer
-peer mentorship to freshman struggling with getting acclimated to high school through Link Leaders
-top 3% of my class
-summer lab intern for biomedical engineering
-intern for epidemiology at a world-renowned university
-4.8 weighted gpa, 3.8 unweighted

Your chance for ED at Tufts looks very good, IMO, based on your impressive ecs and gpa. I’d try to do stellar on those SAT IIs and AP tests. My D is currently a sophomore Bio major at Tufts and raves about her classes in bio, community health, epidemiology. Good luck!

@gondalineNJ‌ oh my goodness those classes are EXACTLY what I want to do! Could you tell me a little more about what she thinks of them, her career opportunities, professors, etc.? Thanks so much! And here’s my plan currently as far as ED goes:
ED I to Cornell U, my dream school but also somewhere I don’t really have a chance at
ED II at Tufts, the perfect fit for me where I will more likely get in.

What do you think?

Your plans with respect to EDI and II sound solid. My D had considered the same course of action, but her visits to Tufts, the amazing info session and tour, the draw of vibrant Davis and Harvard Squares, plus Boston, tipped the school in her favor over Cornell and Ithaca. I’ll PM you with more detailed info!

I really think you’re being so smart with this ED I and ED II idea. Furthermore, I wouldn’t rule out Cornell completely.I’m aware that the Ivies should pretty much always be considered reaches regardless of the person, but I think you have great stats and a good chance. Don’t lose hope!
