<p>sorry i know you guys probably hate this, but just wondering what my chances are</p>

<p>female, race: indian (haha thats probably a bad thing)
SAT: 1500 (800 M, 700 V)
SAT II: IIC: 800, writing: 690, biology: 680
GPA: 3.97 UW QPA: 5:67
AP Classes (12): English lang/lit, Biology, Calc BC, Chem (indep.study), Physics C, US History, Psychology, Statistics, Macro/Micro Economics, Comp AB</p>

<p>Extraccurricular:
Indian Classical Dance, Ballet, Figure Skating, Piano, Singing (all w/ high honors, i.e. w/ singing I was able to sing for the Pope)</p>

<p>NHS - Pres, International Club - Pres, It's Academic - Captain, SADD - Historian, SCA - homecoming comm. chair, NMHS - tutoring comm. chair, '05 steering commitee</p>

<p>Church Youth Group - Secretary and Charity Coordinator (so im involved in a lot of charity work - i.e. like a blood drive i helped to coordinate)</p>

<p>Research Internship at Hopkins Med (lab director is also dean of grad affairs for the med. school and wrote me a very good recommendation...haha does that connection help?)
Also did CTY two years at hopkins</p>

<p>hmm so what do you guys think? and if you do think i can get in, do you think i can also get into the BME program?</p>

<p>everyone is a tossup for the BME program...but ull def get in the regular school...</p>

<p>o btw, did you know, my friend started an indian classical dance group called Shakthi at JHU. they perform on campus and stuff</p>

<p>I would be super super super surprised if you did not get in BME. </p>

<p>I think experiences like that are exactly what BME is looking for, and connections like that are probably the best thing you can have ( much more so than SAT;s and grades)</p>
