Ya, so I'm makin another interview topic lol. Anyways, I got a couple questions. One, what do I wear? The guy didn't mention anything. I don't wanna overdo it with a suit, so what's acceptable attire? Are khakis alrite? This is my second interview and for my first I wore a suit, so I've got no idea what's one step beneath a suit. Two, I get out at 1 every day, and I know he's gonna ask me how I spend my free time. The truth is I just go to lunch with my friends, and then go hang out or go home. Is that bad or should I try to come up wtih something that I actually sort of do, and stretch it a bit?

Thank you in advance for your effort.

Talk about other things you do. Movies you've seen, music you like, anything about you.

As for your attire, the step below suit is a shirt and tie (what I wore) :) Khakis in a nice shirt would be fine, however. Never wear a sweater vest just because they suck.

A suit is definately overboard. When I went, there was a guy and his dad both in suits there and they just looked way out of place and overdressed. While the kid was gone, the dad spent the whole time buttering up the secretary. It just isnt the way you want to present yourself.

I personally wore khakis and a sweatery thing (something some people might wear on a daily basis). Even some clean, solid toned (dark colored with no fading or something) jeans with a decent shirt would be fine. They aren't inspecting how well you can clean up for an interview but what kind of a person you really are. If you show up in something you are uncomfortable in (like a suit), the added image will be outshadowed by your discomforture.

I always wear khakis and a polo shirt, tucked in, with belt, and dress shoes. It's probably the best way, in my opinion, to show some effort in the way you present yourself yet showing that you know not to go completely overboard like otto said.
I just had my Chicago interview today and it lasted 1hr and 15 mins, pretty awesome!

As a rule of thumb, it's best to dress conservatively and it's always best to be over dressed than underdressed. I'm a girl, so obviously, that meant a nice skirt. Which I wore with funky flats and a long sleeve black tshirt with cool earrings. Actually, one of the first things my interviewer said is that she liked my shoes, haha. The point is to look like you thought about it, that you care and that you are making an effort.

As for the after school topic, you don't have to be literal, as in "At 2pm on Tuesdays I...sit home and watch television." I agree with fortune, talk about what you read, watch, listen to, or even what you converse about or what homework you like.

My interviewer didn't really..ask me much. When I'm nervous, I just talk a lot so that's how it went for the msot part. I'm a girl and yeah, like sarahbara said, dress conservatively. I wore a sweater, skirt with formalish shoes, but then, we had our interview at a starbucks and it was COLD so i had colorful knee socks. didn't look overdressed. just..interesting. I just wore what i usually wear ..
