<p>Its humorous that so many posts have been about economic and racial diversity. The schools are perhaps the MOST alike in that regard.
Pomona has a few percent more Hispanic (uh, Southern California?).
Dartmouth has a few percent more Native American (founded initially to educate the Indians).
From USN&WR:
14% of Dartmouth students are Pell Grant Recipients, 11% are at Pomona.
53% of Pomona students receive grants from the College, 50% of Dartmouth students do.
Either school should give you a great experience. It sounds like you've chosen Dartmouth. You are likely to be very,very happy!</p>
<p>i know they are slightly similar, but that one kid kept saying that i was totally off by saying that pomona was more liberal (hello, its so cal),and had more minorities (based on percentages, since the sizes are different)</p>
<p>people just came on here to post their biased opinion about their own school.</p>
