ok, if these so called "freedom fighters" are protecting their nation,
why are they terrorising innocent civilians who pose no threat?

ok, if these so called "freedom fighters" are protecting their nation,
why are they terrorising innocent civilians who pose no threat?

Because they are terrorists, not freedom fighters.

Because once upon a time Iraq was a stable country where in your daily life you didn't have to worry about getting shot if you went outside your house (unless you were involved in politics-- which is true anywhere).

Now, as told by accoutns from my Iraqi friends, the country has been totally destabalized to the point where people are afraid to come out of their houses because there are random criminals and gangs (and of course, the coalition of the willing) from god knows what places in Iraq who have taken advantage of the destablized situation to steal and kill and so on and so forth... nobody is safe.

You think if the the infrasturcture and government in your entire country was destoryed the way it has been in Iraq there wouldn't be higher incidences of crime... sort of like hurricane Katrina I think... you might get shot in your underwear too when you went to do the laundry.

ps. dear Gumball... they make me laugh BUT don't you get tired of these islamophobic posts? May be if you cut down on the propaganda/BS... no better... Go read a book friend, we need less of the uninformed and the ignorant and the bigoted. :)

Looks like we have a winner for "Win a weekend getaway to Cabo with Michael Moore".... Iraq under Saddam a stable country? You truly are a fool.

Iraq under Saddam a stable country?

No, but it sure as hell was more stable than when the "Coalition of the Willing" destroyed its infrastructure.

And let me ask you this....who the HELL put Saddam in power?

Hmmmm....us? So it's actually our fault that Saddam killed his own people. But it's not MY problem. It's the US govt's problem.

We didn't put Saddam in power in the first place, silly. And Iraq was less stable back then, however, he kept his people in terror, because as Machievalli puts it "It's better to be feared than loved." Though, he did kill about 500K Iraqis, and God knows how many more. Yeah, I guess the US should apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good 'ole' boys", we will never "interfere" again.
