You know what I realized?...Maybe im too young for this insight but here it is....

^thank you…totally agree…

^ Nice little flame battle we had.
I’m done.

“unless you do a complete flip flop which really isn’t that uncommon.”

i know people change, i realized that halfway through, but didn’t feel like backspacing all that crap. plus long posts make you seem more intellectual (unless of course, people actually read them) :D

Holy Cow! I just opened my door and a huge wild bird flew in. My cats went crazy and the bird about hit my dad in the face! X^O

Anyway…

@ Daxlo5:Thanks! I think it is better that people discuss and debate on topics. It makes for a better understanding of our own views and helps us understand others.

Best wishes with the new year.

The kid’s parents make a combined 100k a year and that’s poor… Damn. I must be living in the slums. My parents make 25k or below per year. Together.

In my book, you’re well off.

But whatever.

I believe you should work hard, but if you screw up in high school, it’s okay. You just have to wake up one day and work hard. It won’t all be handed over on a silver platter to you. To get where you want to reasonably be means to work hard.

^ That’s perfect.

HAVING a perfect SAT/(4.0 GPA)/ACT blah blah JUST Shows HOW balanced your brain is.

Long Term Memory -> Short Term Memory
English Logic -> Math Logic

For heck sakes, most of the top Physicists are **** at english, and most of the top Historians can’t solve simple mathematical equations.

I’ve heard this many times
“Smart people have no imagination”
Thats what you need to invent the legendary.

Pardon my language but what do these statements have anything to do with what we are talking about?

You shouldn’t even go to college and instead should instead enjoy life for all it’s worth. Model your life after that of a labrador dog.

Not everyone who works hard in high school does it to get into the best possible college.
The hard work I’ve done (which, admittedly, is not much) is because a) I have too much pride to get bad grades, and b) To get into the college at which I’ll be happiest, ie not necessarily a top college.

“Pardon my language but what do these statements have anything to do with what we are talking about?” -> Yeah, this.

Yeah, I don’t think families making ~$100k are getting much from welfare.

Thread’s over buddy.

Nice attempt at ■■■■■■■■ thought.

100k a year depends on where you live. To live comfortably in a nice place in a major city will require 100k like LA or NYC. Simply because those two cities are ridiculously expensive. And 250k or above is considered to be well off.

^100k/year is still comfortable. Even in the most expensive cities in the US, it would be hard to say someone making 100k per year was poor. It’s definitely not in line with poverty levels.

And due to the fact that his mother’s income is so low, I would assume that he doesn’t live in one of those expensive cities… though that might be a bad assumption. =/

14k per year is less than full time minimum wage for a year…

WARNING WARNING WARNING

ColumbianX = Jorghi = ■■■■■. The Ignore List feature still works. If you don’t know how to use it, PM me.

Feeding ■■■■■■ habituates them to contact with humans. It is important for both their sake and ours that we attempt to minimize ■■■■■-human interaction.

Just remember this:

YOU ARE NOT YOUR GRADES!

You need more than $100k to be wealthy in LA, but it doesn’t make you poor either. And you’re not going to be getting any welfare.

^To live comfortably in the city like LA or NYC will require ober 100k but to live with a bit of luxury will require so much more that only the very well off can afford. But having 100k in Wyoming is very well off over there
