You know you're a nerd when...

You know you are a nerd when you get a paper cut reading your calculator handbook.

^ agree 10char

when going to stores like staples and office max excite you.
when you get excited over already re-enforced paper (seriously, when I found that at staples I was so pumped).
when schools supply shopping sounds fun.
when the SAT/AP prep book section of barnes and nobles is your favorite.
when you bring you SAT prep books on vacation.
when you take college classes during the summer... just because.

hahahaha.

t4tz t3h 3p1c lulz

derivate is not a word

1.) When you must stop at Borders (i like it better than b&n) every time you're at the mall
2.) When you get all nostalgic about your graphing calc b/c you've had it for 5 years and the keys are all sideways but you really don't want another one b/c you've been through so many boring math classes and awful probs together (this is me right now)

when your favorite store is barnes and nobles am obsesesed with it!

You're still in high school and you've had your graphing calculator for 5 years.
You felt the need to buy a graphing calculator for any class before Calculus.

I used an 89 in jr high but I use an 84 now because we're not allowed to use the 89.

You wear plaid, button up short sleeved shirts

just to let you know my alg II teacher required that everyone had a graphing calc, then engraved our names in the back of them-mine has a little smiley face next to my name

ROFL, rubik's cube... i can never finish those, not even one side

-When you actually care about April 1 (or March 10 in my case, prp schools hehe)
-You want an encyclopedia britannica set for your sweet sixteen
-You find yourself watching hours of: Full House and That 70s Show to see what the fashion styles are today
-You received an Illustrated Copy of 1776 for your birthday (WOOT)
-You download graph calc apps on your iphone
-You absolutely LOVE reading MIT and Harvard's website
-You are ****ed that your teacher did not add an "Analyze" section on the next essay
-You sit and dream of the next gen calculator hand book

you <s>like</s> love collecting books;
you know n languages, with n>1, and n-1 of them are computer languages

Ok, those are a turn on for me. I'm not sure how sad that is. :)

Ok, you know you're a nerd when it's a turn on to see a guy in a button up plaid shirt. (Or any button up shirt in that general style...)

false: Most girls are impressed by guys when they wear button-up shirts. Kinda proves the point that society expects more for girls to dress up nicely than for guys. When guys wear button-up shirts, even if it's just with jeans, it looks like they're dressed really nicely.

^ Agreed, but the shirt has to be tucked in for me. I think it looks stupid otherwise. An added plus is khaki pants.
