Haha this girl in my grade basically does that, and my friend did a partner test with her and was really proud of herself for bringing this girl down (they got an A- and she was super disappointed)</p>
<p>*just to make this clear, she wasn’t being cruel, this girl is a know-it-all who everybody pretty much hates because she thinks she’s a genius and mocks everyone else</p>
<p>^^^you’re right- the fact that this girl is probably constantly made fun of and has no friends to fall back on for support DOES make it a lot less cruel to be rude to her.</p>

<p>^ Nah, some overachievers are so good that they can leave summer homework for the week before school starts and still get better grades on said assignments than those who didn’t procrastinate.</p>

<p>Overachieving is when you put too much effort into it, not when you do nothing and get an A - that’s underachieving and getting extremely lucky.</p>
<p>Also: Dropping a TI-84?! Seriously?! That’s a nerd/geek problem, and I’m fairly sure the owner of an HP 11c or one of those HP 48s (? on model #) would TOTALLY FREAK OUT in comparison. (I’d love to own an HP myself, but I do not at the moment).</p>
<p>I have an nspire CAS. It’s ok, and I actually made money trading my lightly used 84+ for it (new), but I probably won’t ever need it again going forward in my college studies. :(</p>

<p>When you can write an essay in 2 hours from scratch that the class had a month to do and get a 99. Aka me. Oh good times.</p>
