What exactly is this? I have my professors who are going to write me a LOR, but I am a bit confused on this. I am applying to USC and LMU.I get the Academic Evaluator is where your professor will be their section but unsure about the part above. The UC's apps were 10x more straight forward than this. Thanks in advance.

Okay, I get what it is, “A registrar is an official in an academic institution who handles student records. This form should be completed by your college/university registrar or appropriate dean/college official who can verify your enrollment and academic standing.”

So, now, my other question is, do I just pick anybody? A random counselor of sorts? I see “A registrar is an official in an academic institution who handles student records. This form should be completed by your college/university registrar or appropriate dean/college official who can verify your enrollment and academic standing.”

Do I have notify them that this is coming their way or do I just put their name and send it out?

Definitely have a conversation with your current school before inviting someone. Communicate with the people in the office who handle transcripts for your school to get the correct individual’s email address (if you are going to invite them by email) and to confirm which person should be invited as your registrar.

I have a question about this too. So the registrar would complete the form and mail the transcripts for me, right? I assume the registrar is not supposed to provide recommendation letters or anything other than the form or the transcript, correct? I wonder if I also need to request transcripts at the same time or does the registrar get an email that allows him to submit my transcript online (which means I won’t need to request a transcript to be send separately) ?
