Tip: don’t bet on becoming a finalist, it’ll only make you disappointed if you don’t get it. Remember, it’s hard enough to be a winner, let alone a finalist, which is the top 1%.

So even if you’re a merit or honorable mention, which I was last year, that’s still a very big deal. I mean, YoungArts is the biggest arts organization in the United States. It’s awesome to get recognized either way! Good luck to everyone. 1 day left.

SO NERVOUS

Dying of anxiety! Good luck everyone :)

Gook luck to all of you. You are all winners! Whoop!

Is today the big day? The butterflies are unreal right now. I’m so excited!! Hopefully my high hopes won’t disappoint me…

I think it’s tomorrow, but not sure. With the things I submitted? Not expecting anything. if only I’d had some of these poems done sooner… Eh. There’s always next year.

Good luck to all of you!

I’m going to be on edge tomorrow all day!
Good luck guys

Good luck everyone! Fingers crossed that as many of you guys get recognition as possible! sending positive vibes :-bd

Break legs everyone! I wish everyone the best. Please remember that this is not the be all and end all for any of you. It’s just one competion.
We know a young man ( vocalist) who was not a winner last year but was accepted to both Eastman & Juilliard.
Believe in yourselves no matter what!

oops. competition!!!

@coloraturakid so true. Kids don’t judge your worth or talent on one competition. I know a finalist who did not get into one school for which she auditioned. My daughter was a honarable mention and she’s in the same vocal performance class with a finalist. So …keep working and stay passionate about your craft. But I’m putting in a special prayer for runningforlife cause he/she is gonna drive themselves crazy! [-O<

@Dradsmom : haha thanks !
the results should be soon…look at their twitter updates :)

what are they saying on twitter?? Im on my school network and can’t view it, haha

at 9 AM they said “we’re working on tedious stuff today, like emails, etc”!!!

agh, why do they have to say it like that

Hey friends! I got my merit email last year on 11/20 at night, so I think there’s a good chance that the same thing will happen. Hold on y’all!! Watch some YouTube. Art some art!

AH this is so nerve-wracking!! hopefully some results will be out tomorrow… fingers crossed!!!

@runningforlife Who’s twitter page were these comments posted?
