Guys, good luck. Everyone deserves this and I hope we all got something. My heart dropped a bit when I found out people were notified already but honestly it’s just a waiting game and we didn’t lose anything by applying. Doesn’t change the fact that art is our passion and we can make a life out of it if we work hard.

Found a Facebook post that referred to “happy calls from YoungArts” so I guess they are calling.
They call all finalists before the list goes out. At least they have done that past 2 years.
Are they going down the discipline list?
That I don’t know. I’ve heard from dancers and MT people who were called today.
to be honest, with my luck, writers won’t get called until the very end–and then I’ll find out I lost

I do not understand this process. We were told December. Why would Youngarts just not say what they are doing to announce. This just make no sense. Either Post every year on a certain date along with calling or say we call finalists this week notify others this week. Maybe they wait to hear if finalists can attend and then go down the list for people able to attend? But why just not explain the process if this is the case. Colleges do it with wait lists etc.
Oh goddess. This is *ing stressful. I can’t handle this, not with how everything is going to *ing **** in my life.

I noticed that many of the finalists announced on Twitter were from the same school. Don’t know where the school is though.
