Yeah, I didn’t win anything. I’m a little bummed, but it’s not a huge deal. On CC it can kind of seem like YoungArts is the end -all /be-all of contests, but there really are a lot of other just as good ones out there. I’ll enter next year, but l’ll try not to focus on it too much. It’s a cool contest, but it can be pretty random. Plus, after the Cornish incident and the chaos of this year’s notifications, I’m having trouble putting my faith in YoungArts. My experience with Scholastics was a lot smoother and more considerate. At any rate, good luck to Finalists and other winners! Have fun at regional/ national programs! Also, don’t lose hope, my fellow non-winners! We’ll try again next year!
I’m with @FlameAlchemist. I didn’t win anything either but I have two more years left and will just focus on scholastic and other contests. Hopefully I Fair better in those but everyone else who won good luck at Regionals/Nationals and congrats for your wins!!!
Hey guys, do you guys know if at the exhibition for visual arts, design and photo the stuff you exhibit is your portfolio or new stuff you create while there.
@cmhvisuals hm not sure. but if you’ve already been put in contact with your discipline coordinator (ik for writing i have), then they should be able to tell you
Congrats to all of the winners! YoungArts is a wonderful program!

Hey, I got an email today that my second writing submission (in another) discipline made it to the final round of judging! Did anyone else get this email?
