Just got a your choice application in the mail, I live in rural CT and almost no one else from my school got one. Does this increase my chance of getting a scholarship? For reference:
GPA: 3.8 unweighted 4.5 weighted
Class Rank: 13/150
SAT: 2100-CR 730 MA 680 WR 690
ACT: 33
APs: Chem, Calc AB, and Calc BC Junior year. Stats, Lang/Comp, and a UCONN western civ course senior year. All other classes were honors
Activities: Class President all four years
National Honors Society junior and senior year
Cross Country and Track all four years (Varsity last 3 years), Indoor track my first three
Head of fundraising for a local program that helps disabled kids play soccer
Lots of other misc. community service things
Interned at a local law office senior year
I doubt it increases your chances, but fill it out anyway if Fordham does interest you. You have very good stats.
The application won’t help you get in or get aid…but it is free!
I got one too and my stats are about the same, 3.9 gpa, 1870 SAT, rank 13/370
