Your ED Application Is In - What Are You Going To Do Now?

a girl in my grade got recruited to stanford for synchronized swimming. She probably would have gotten in anyway, though, cause she has like a 4.0 unweighted GPA.

basically saying I wouldn't get in even if i applied.

bump this thread, I like it :)

we should start a question thread where you ask a question for the next person :)

what's the first thing you're going to do at Cornell?

Try not to go crazy with happiness :P

What dorm do you want to get if you end up going to Cornell and what kind of living arrangement?

Not Balch! (I'd go crazy), and I'd like a double, which is sweet because that's pretty much what the majority gets.

What's one extra-curricular that you'd want to join once you got to Cornell?

Swim Team/Club.

What is one course you want to take the most?

Hi... If you want to know what real wait is...

ED = deferred = spring decision = GT= 1 year later...

I would definitely do intramural soccer..and some sort of running.
Any science/math related club would do too!
coursewise: i really want to take CS 100R. that looks awesome and its for freshman. i think.

i kind of want to take chemistry of dairy products and/or the wine elective that basically only seniors get into

What is your secret ambition?

My not-so-secret ambition is to get my M.D. but my secret ambition (academic-wise) is to learn as many languages as I possibly can :P

What language, if you could take any language at all and had ample time for it, would you want to learn most?

French for sure!

What is the one thing that you will avoid at Cornell?

I want to take the bee keeping course lol.. and avoid all CC'ers

hahah somni why do you want to avoid CC'ers????

hahaha yeah, why not somni?
if I get in ED and some other CCer's I've been talking to on threads get into Cornell, I'd definitely want to meet up when I get to Cornell.

Anyone else with the languages?

i kind of want to learn italian :)

Yeah that'd be sweet, it's not too different from Spanish in some regards, so it could be an easier one to learn.
In college I'm definitely going to try to take as many as I can (graduation requirements come first though, haha)

ahaha i wish i kept up with French :P one romance language that might benefit with the ladies you know ^^

the more i think about cornell ED tho, the worse i think my chances are.. sigh..

Me too, darknight, at first I thought that I had a good chance, but now I'm ready for rejection if it comes.

Me three :(.

German! I'm on an exchange year right now though so I guess I'll be sort of "done" with it by the time I start at Cornell (or ready to take some interesting classes taught in German?). I really want to learn Russian next.
