Your Favorite Math IC Review Book

The Four that I quickly stumbled upon were:

10 Realistic SAT II Math IC Test Booklets
-SAT II Math with TI
-How to Prepare for the SAT II Math Level IC (Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT II: Math Level II C)
-Cracking the SAT II: Math, 2003-2004 Edition (Cracking the Sat II Math){Princeton}

I already own the Kaplan SAT II Mathematics 2004-05. Out of those four, which are worthwhile/is there anything else you'd recommend. Thanks a bunch.

I didn't bother taking the IC exam. Used Kaplan's for the IIC - score was fine. I don't see the need for a second book. But if you're intent on gettting another, I'd say take the 10 Realistic SATs - it'll give you practice which is usually what people need the most. (Mind you, I've never used any of the books you've mentioned, but that's what I'd do anyway)

I bought every math sat2 help book (both 2c, 1c and both). I have to improve my score by about 110-150 points. yay!

Don't take Math 1c if you plan to take Math 2c. It is a waste.

I vote for 10 Realistic SAT II Math IC Test Booklets and SAT II Math with TI

But what if you're not prepared to take the IIC yet? I signed up to take three exams, and I already dropped one. Should i just drop the IC in June and take IIC in the fall? I'm not sure I want to do that because I'm planning to apply early action for some colleges.

1C will requrie that you know plane geometry; 2C requires a lot of TI knowledge; there is a trade off

2C has an easy curve (90% for 800 if I am not wrong); but 1C you need 99% to get a 800. It is one of the harder curve I think. You may still take 2C in October for EA.

That's not correct. Students who recieve an 800 on the IIC are in around the 90th percentile, and those who get an 800 on the IC are in the 99+ percentile (better than something like 99.5% of test-takers).

You can get an 800 on the IIC with five incorrect responses, whereas on the IC an 800 may only be obtained with a perfect raw score.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. 1C has a hard curve since you are not allowed to make a single mistake or blank (99%+). I heard more people received 800 in 2C than other sat ii subjects.

BARRONS is reallllly good
