Your favorite quirky word?

Not just ordinary words, I mean quirky ones (not neccessarily really long or anything). For example, I love using "whopping" , "trumpeted", "bodes", "synonymous" and "smorgasbord" in my writing.
Do any of you guys have your own that you would like to share?

I love incorporating “indeed” in everything.

It’s addictive, indeed.

^ lol I quite have that some problem with “quite”

^I have the same type of obsession with “perhaps”.

i love bruohaha and globbledygook

“plethora” - because it ****es my english teacher off. I use it in EVERY essay and paper. and she circles it and writes “don’t use this word” - 7 DAYS TILL SCHOOL ENDS!

“Oxymoronically,” “ramifications,” “augmentation.”

^haha plethora is a good one… YAY for word choice abuse!!!

Shenanigans. I make it my mission to incorporate it in every essay.

I love playing sinh in scrabble, gets them every time.

I started using the word conducive in my daily vocabulary, and now I use it too much.

These aren’t quirky per say, but I use “condescending” and “ridiculous” unhealthily often.

I forgot “palimpsest”. If only I could find the oppurtunity for it in an essay, it would give my teacher a real shocker ;)

ycelpt, superadd

lolz, i have lots.

My two biggest, though:

-More in essays than in language, but “Plethora.” I use it allll the time.

Instead of saying “Cool!”, “Awesome,” or “Great,” I have always for some reason said “Choice!”.

haha we say FAIL when things are lame, and now this kid is trying to make PASS a new word for cool, lol !!!

Gallimaufry is the best I’ve got

sherpa is one of my favorite words. its fun to say

Unfortunately I’ve taken to saying “absolutely” in every sentence recently. In essays I have to incorporate the word endeavor at least once each time. And my favorite word of all time is:
hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia
it means the fear of large words, and that just cracks me up.

And the word that ****es me off the most is:
like.
If some one says it more than once in a single sentence I immediately have to suppress my murderous intent.

yahtzeeeeeeeeee!
