Seriously, if I posted my grades, the majority of this board would gasp in shock and horror and start convulsing.

this just shows you whats wrong with the american education system there is so much grade inflation. And they wonder why we are behind the rest of the world.

Speaking of Physics, my class was impossible, the highest grade was a 90 and the kid who got that is so fricking smart, he could probably have derived most of the formulas in his head. I guess that is the problem with a teacher who doesn't give a **** about teaching or his kids and graduated first in his class at MIT then went back to get a masters degree there in physics and decided to teach!

Spring trimester:

Gosh I HATE physics. I had an 84.5 RIGHT before the final, and then here comes the final....C-. GRRRRRRR all I needed was a C+ to keep my B in physics. Oh by the way, I worked so hard for physics...but you know what? I topped out at B-. Ahhhh once again science ruins my life.

Let the shock and convulsing begin.

wow i really don't get how you americans can pull off such RIDICULOUSLY high averages.

i go to a canadian private girls school and the highest average around here is like, a 93

It's called grade inflation. America is famous for it.

yes grade inflation. although, i go to a private school, and we don't have grade inflation, the people who have a 4.0, deserve it because they take the most challenging courses and try the hardest. but my school doesn't + or -, and it doesn't do the number system. i'd say the highest average would be a 95 in all classes. i like the letter system much better though.

Well, I think this thread motivates people. We'll see a person with 5+ APs and all A's for grades and since they'll be the ones competing with us to get into college so naturally, it'd make us want to improve out own grades.

You guys are pretty dumb.
