guess it was a productive year :) now time for college!! woohoo

^^And I suppose it was a piece of cake getting all those As?

And I bet you're going to HYSP or some other elite school...

Gym/health(average 4 MP) 99.5
Hon. Physics 97
Hon. English 96
APUSH 98
APmicro/macro (pass independt study)
APCalc AB 98
Advanced Improv 97
German 3 97

for rank, honors and AP multiply by 1.13
so my GPA = 103.46 Oh yeah!

I actually lost my report card a few weeks ago, but if I remember correctly, my grades were as follows:

Freshman Year

Pre-AP Algebra II: 96
Dance I: 99
Pre-AP Biology: 99
Pre-AP English I: 100
Introductory Journalism: 99
Pre-AP World Geography: 98
Spanish II: 99
Career Exploration/Health: 100

For all intents and purposes, Pre-AP= Honors. Just to give this some context-- I was ranked second in a class of approximately 600 last semester, lagging some .04 behind the ranking val. Didn't think it was possible, with that 96. I'm still waiting for my current rank. Grade inflation is pretty rampant, so getting straight A's isn't hard, but being val/sal/third or whatever is, since all the top students are neck-to-neck. It's really a gamble-- which teachers you get, whether scheduling conflicts prevent you from taking all the advanced courses you want, etc.

My guess is I'll remain second, unless the val drops down a lot (two or three points), or the third rises a lot (again, two or three points). I'm not sure if this stiff competition and element of chance is relatively common, or if it's unique to my school. Because it's getting kind of annoying.

Honors Philosophy in Lit A
Begining Orchestra A
AP Biology A
AP US History A
AP Calculus BC A
AP Eng. Lang & comp. A
Honors Debate A

i'm really happy.. this is the first time ever that i got all A's :) :) :)

ummm go-vibe:
im not sure whether that was supposed to be mean or sarcastic or whatever but for your info, im going to pitt... i didnt even apply to HYSP or any of the others... im going to pitt because im not gonna have to pay :) which is always a good thing... plus i can be by my family

and no... it wasn't a piece of cake

Wow so many straight As, I thought I was special when I got my report card lol.

why the 7th graders come here? You don't belong here

Heehee...I survive senioritis:
AP Physics C: A B
AP Econ/AP Gov (first/second semester): A A
AP English Language: A A (I had, um, a D for a while 4th quarter. I was somewhat surprised at the A.)
TA: A A

Congrats for bringing up the D, quirkily! I know how it feels to have to bring up grades at the last minute since I always missed so much school for my ECs.

I think my personal best was bringing up a 47 in AP Calc to a 93 in three days, lol.

Haha, thanks.
Congratulations on that 93 yourself...how'd you manage it?

I had missed the whole last week of a grading period for band...and then two days for Debate the week I got back. My school only allows three days for a student to make up missed work. Not all of the teachers are very strict with it, but my Calc teacher was.

I had to do that for six other classes, as well, but they were much easier to catch up in (thank God).

go_vibe you seem mean and rude.

He has a point though...

Anyways..im holding a copy of my final transcript, finally..our school takes too long to get em ready..
