So how true is this song?

bump? 10char

No need to bump! lol. Anyway, the song is as true as you want it to be. I’m still in contact with the few people from HS that I formed strong friendships with. I plan to be in contact with the people in college that I formed strong friendships with (more since college has more people than HS). Some people will stay in contact with no one. Others will stay in contact with more people than I. It’s really up to you.

It is definitely up to you (and your friends). Normally what happens in a lot of high school friendships in college, one friend makes an effort to keep in touch while the other doesn’t (or both don’t at all). If you and your friends have a deep enough friendship and both care enough to keep in contact with each other, there is no reason for anything to change. But generally it happens a lot…especially if you have become closer to your college friends.

I still hang out with my bros during the summer and school breaks.

There are people that you were close to high school that you will still be close to in college, but the majority of your friends will drift apart. I still have a group of high school friends that I am VERY close to and in the summer and on breaks we spend almost every day together, and then on breaks we hang out too (there are like 8 of us).

My parents are still best friends with people from their high school, even though they’re in their 50s and live in different states.

Ahhh ok ok, but i guess the people you drift away from are the people you would have drifted away from anyway…

I didnt make any strong relationships in HS. I tried. I still think I had pretty sucky ppl to deal with…so I’m going with the it was them and not me thing. lol.
