ebeeeee, thanks for the info about the vases. I just signed up an ordered. Now I’m wondering – I assume you get the $10 referral credit since I followed your link. So do you receive my name and/or email address as well? It just occurred to me that clicking on this type of link may have privacy ramifications that I hadn’t considered.

OK, I just got the vases too. Hope they’re as nice as you all say they are. They were $4 for a pack of 6. Wondering if they will make nice gifts?

got a red valentino tie for ten dollars at marshall’s =D

Nope I did not receive any information on your email or information. I didn’t even really know the link was going to get me a referral credit. I was just trying to pass on a good deal ![]()
The vases are really nice and will make good gifts.

I’ve been shopping the end of summer closeout sales at Lands End and Sierra Trading Post. Lots of great deals like $6 mens cotton turtlenecks and a bunch of fleeces. But, I was really pleased with three sweater deals:

This cotton half-zip from Lands End for $13 (in a dark blue):

http://s7.landsend.com/is/image/LandsEnd/390443_AJ11_FF_INE?op_sharpen=1&rgn=0,0,2000,3000&scl=4.504504504504505&id=clmqF1

This one, a plain black cotton crewneck from Lands End for $9:

http://s7.landsend.com/is/image/LandsEnd/343642_AJ11_FF_TVY?op_sharpen=1&rgn=0,0,2000,3000&scl=4.504504504504505&id=lgeqT3

And this Columbia casual cotton sweater, $17 from Sierra Trading Post in the “tusk” color shown:

Thanks, ebeeeee. Good to know.

Nice interesteddad, I shop Sierra Trading Post too. I’m expecting an order this week that includes a True Grit puffy winter coat (plaid w/ fur trimmed hood), a soft shell jacket,a pr. of Lee Jeans, a pr. of Woolrich jeans and two knit shirts all for $104. Shipping was free because I spent over $100. I’m having to buy a lot of clothes because of weight loss so am looking for best possible deals. I’ve also gotten some great deals on shoes from STP.

Love STP but you do need to subscribe to the DealFlyer emails to get the best deals.

Oh Packmom…sounds like we could have FUN shopping the used “stuff” stores!!

Yeah we could, thumper. Right across the street from my fav Goodwill (we just call it the GW now!) is a huge Salvation Army store that has half price day every Wed…woohoo.
A friend at work who is a single Mom hits the half price sale all the time. She gets great childrens’ clothes and resells them on Ebay to supplement her income.

^ Now that’s an enterprising person!! I love it!

Free steak dinner at Outback if they are still available in your area:

[The Outback Steakhouse® Great Aussie Steak Out](<a href=“Out Back Free Steaks - Daftar Judi Online Terbaik”>http://www.outbackfreesteaks.com/)

No free steaks left in my area. Did anyone get one??

My good buy today- gas for $3.22 at Costco! Everywhere else is $3.65 to $3.75. How does Costco do that?!

Wow, just got mine…thanks abasket.

Not only did I get one, I signed up two of my kids at their addresses and forwarded the link to my whole family.

Did you try a different restaurant within 25 miles of you? Some may sell out sooner than others but you can use it for any of them.

oooo Got a free steak for me and D2. D1’s area was used up… the news probably spread like wildfire on campus.

3bm103, thanks, I got one and sent to me friends and family

OOps- forgot to post this last night when DS sent it to me (we both got one). Thanks for posting, 3bm103

Got the steak dinner as well and then circulated the site to all my co-workers. Thanks!

Today’s Living Social deal is for a one-year [Zip Car Membership](http://livingsocial.com/deals/112625?msdc_id=87&ref=SCTDeal082511_87_2650email) in the New Haven CT area, in case anyone has kids/friends/relatives in the area. Must be 21 with a valid drivers license and the cost is only $30 for a $115 value. S1 in SF loves his Zip Car membership.

Wow, thanks for the Outback link!
I got one for us, my mom, inlaws, SIL, my son at school, and several girlfriends. Now I have to send them an email letting them know not to throw it out! :)

^^^That living social deal for Zipcar is also available for the Washington DC area. Not a concern of mine as I take Metro, but there are quite a few Zipcars located around the GWU campus where the parking is nonexistent. BTW they are taking down the big central GWU garage to make a science and tech building. Wonder where people will park now…
