<p>Lakemom, on the My Ebates part of ebate.com, is a link for Tracking tickets. This has every ebate ticket you ever opened and you can cross check with this and with the Cash Pending link. And I agree with abasket’s post#4479. FWIW, not that I spend a lot of time following tickets, but I don’t think I’ve ever NOT received ebates I earned…now at +$300 in the past two years.</p>

<p>I’ve been using ebates for a few years now. One thing to remember - sometimes you can use coupons not listed on the ebates site and still get rebate, sometimes you will not get rebate. Happened to me recently when I booked a vacation package from orbitz. The coupon was for $100, the rebate was worth $50. Obviously, $100 now is better then $50 later.
I actually am using MrRebares more. There rebates are a bit higher IMHO, plus my Mom gets a % of my rebates since she referred me.</p>

Went to use the rest last night on a gift for someone and it turns out my DS thought it was one of his giftcards and he used it on a purchase! Grrr. Oh well, at least I was able to use some Discover cashback $ and did order through ebates so will get 4% back.</p>

On Weds night I bought a pretty cocktail dress to wear to DH’s office party this weekend. It was originally (MSRP) $125 but sold (at Steinmart) for half, and was further marked down to about $49. I commented to the sales clerk that I had a coupon but it wouldn’t start until Friday (today). He said to come back and if it was still on sale, I could return the dress and they’d re-ring it up with the coupon. </p>
<p>So today I stop by on my way to meet a friend for lunch. Store is a MADHOUSE. Turns out they are also having a deal (it was on the back of my coupon and I hadn’t noticed) that if you bought something over $30 you got an additional $10 off over and above the sale prices. The customer service person checks the price of my dress-- now down to $29.99!! And I had 20% off. But if I bought something else to bring it back up to $30 I got the extra $10 off. I am at the register with a LONG line of people behind me, so I grab the closest thing I can-- what a shame-- I <em>had</em> to buy 2 bags of Godiva chocolate covered almonds. They rung up at $2.66 each and my $125 dress rung up for… $16.36. Total bill, with tax, $22.66</p>
<p>All I can think of is winner winner… chicken dinner. Although I hope they serve something more interesting at the party. It has been a good week for you, splendid one. I also appreciate you desire for fun and to try new things.</p>
