I got the dress @was going to wear for her interview for 50% off today at Ann Taylor. When i tried it on I was thinking it looked familiar, and eventually it came to me.

@1214mom ā¦itās a very flattering dress on, isnāt it? Alas, I took it back. Found out my interview was not WITH the staffing agency, but they were interviewing me as a potential person to send out. Their ad was very misleading. I decided I wasnāt going to spend $100 on a new dress for that.
Thatās not good if the staffing agency has misleading interviews! Glad you didnāt spend money for them.
Not exactly a good buy but after talking to five departments at Am Ex and my supplemental health insurance company, Iāve determined that I am sufficiently covered and donāt need to buy the $99 trip insurance for my November cruise. AmEx covers cancellation/interruption with a limit above the actual cost of my cruise, and HealthNet covers 80% of medical care with a $250 deductible. Since weāre only cruising to Mexico and the home port is my home town of San Diego, good enough!

Now I need some shoes to go with it. I canāt wear open toed shoes. They could have a little āpeep toeā or whatever itās called. I also donāt want more than about a 2 inch heel. I donāt want to spend more than about $150 on shoes, but if they were shoes I could wear often I would consider a little higher. Itās for a wedding that starts at 3:30. Itās all on a porch or inside, so all heel types are OK.

Get a nude peep toe pump. I saw a pair I loved at Nordstrom Rackā¦Cole Hahnā¦and they were $100 and stupidly, I didnāt buy them.

@1214mom How about silver? I have a pair of silver ballet-style with very small heel - because I am very tall and I like comfort. I have a silver handbag to go with it. I got the shoes at Zappos - no deal, but Iām pretty sure they were under $150

^warning @yauponredux I have several Wacoal,and regret buying the two red ones, which were $35 rather than usual $60. Well, three years later and the dye still bleeds out of them when I hand wash them. Hate them and get rash I think from dye. Black and nude never did that

I snagged a pair of tall Sperry Rainboots at Nordstrom Rack this evening. They were marked down to $60, but when I checked the website were only $40 online. They matched it and D18 thought they would be darling and necessary for her new East Coast wardrobe. Go Mammoths!
