Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

@3scoutsmom - are those coupons stackable? (asks the person who jsut bought 8 rolls of paper towels yesterday…)

@deb922 great job! And you know the pricing of that jacket at $74.50 was purposeful! I’m jealous of your “extra extra” coupon!

@jym626 I don’t think you can stack them, you can only use the code once but they sent me another coupon after I ordered for 12% off of $15 , Code: SPG12

Roundtrip non-stop airfare, Newark to Miami major airline $87
brings me back to the People Express days

^^That’s crazy cheap!

What airline Newark to Miami?

@BmacNJ you just gave me flashbacks to when I was in college and often flew Peoples Express to DC from Newark for $35. $87RT is crazy low! Congrats on that deal!

I’ve been checking airlines for low fares for my daughter to fly home from school but so far, nothing that makes me want to buy a ticket yet.

We found several cheap fares over the weekend; I know the airlines are hurting. I booked a flight Easter weekend to see my daughter’s family, and my son and family booked to visits us over Memorial Day weekend.

Summer fares haven’t budged yet.

We bought Kirkland and Clorox wipes from Costco at their regular low prices and will have and use them, as well as sharing with loved ones who didn’t get to the store.

Gave a container of Clorox wipes to our neighbor—they’re at risk (ages 81/84 plus care for their offspring who has muscular dystrophy).

We have a transatlantic cruise coming up in November (I know, I know, but there was no coronavirus 3 months ago). When the price drops, the cruise line drops your price also - if you call. I’ve saved over $1500 in the last month. It feels much, much affordable now!

Penzey’s is offering 20% off of everything except gift cards and vanilla. Code SAFE.

Thank you!!! I just ran out of some spices.

Moosejaw is having a sale on all their outerwear with code “dingdong”. DH bought a new pair of ski pants last week (and we had $30 of “moosejaw rewards” that we applied to the original purchase. They readjust prices within 14 days, so we are getting an additional $14.30 back on our credit card. Sale ends today, I believe.

Also scored a very inexpensive round trip to SFO late July/early August. There were cheaper fares but we wanted these dates/times and they were less than $300 round trip, and we got bumped up to economy comfort.

Any Macy’s experts here? We need to order somethings from there and wondering if upcoming Friends and Family prices are going to be lower than current One Day Sale prices. Historically, which one is a better sale?

Compared to their one day sale today? Take a look at this- it might help https://www.samicone.com/macys-friends-and-family-sale-dates/

And per this https://www.groupon.com/coupons/blog/2019-macys-sales-calendar-when-you-should-shop-for-the-best-deals there isnt a F&F sale likely til April.

I think they are doing presales for F&F in the store. (Macy’s)

It’s hard to say but F&F is usually good for items that don’t go on sale that often. Cosmetics usually are 15% off.

I am finding that some CVS deals come to be free with electronic coupons and extracare bucks. Anyone experienced with CVS couponing?

I used to coupon a great deal at CVS. It is possible to stack coupons such as a manufacturer, cvs and extra bucks. But, remember, using ExtraBucks is like cash at that store so your item isn’t exactly free. You had to buy other items to qualify for the ECB’s. The best way to use ECB’s is to purchase other items that will give you ECB’s. That way you keep rolling them to continue purchasing items at a lower cost. I found The Krazy Coupon Lady and I Heart CVS to be very helpful sites in planning your CVS shopping trip. Good luck.
