Your guide to Sin and Pleasure in Ithaca

haha really? that sounds like the ones at cornell? thats funny

Stupid freshman story: I just went today to get beer but I mixed up Grandma's (is this still open?, I couldn't find it) with the Convienence Deli store that is also on Eddy St. that mr. nova said never to go to. Didn't have any problems though. I guess I was lucky or my fake is better than I thought.

I said never go cause if they do spot the fake theyll take it.

mrnova, is Grandma's still open? I didn't see any other type of convience store on Eddy st.

how's the club scene in Ithaca? Any ones that minors could get into?

It's really disgusting. I believe this russian fellow mrnva is nothing more but show off. What about your grades, mrnva? Russians have already " an alcogolics" repuation, so don't make people to think that all russians are alcogolics like you. Have been drinking since 12? How many times have you been taken in a pricinct?

w t f is an alcogolic?

ps. mrnova is a badass

it's f alhogolic -

Mrnova seems like an educated, experienced drinker to me. Anyone who says all Russians have a reputation for being "alcoholics" is misguided at best. Please, don't make generalizations about other races.
Also, this individual has been drinking since age 12 but shows a remarkable sense of maturity compared to the average college student. I do agree that he is explaining how to break the law which is less than noble but is highly common among American teens and is not unique to "Russians." He doesn't have a duty to give a good example of his race; no one does and you can't call someone a bad person just because they don't strive in every moment of their lives to erase stereotypes. He's living his own life and helping others achieve their goals, however myopic and hedonistic they are.

Hedonism builds character.

ummm and p.s.

basically ALL college students and students at cornell probaly KNOW all or SOME of this information.

this isnt a resume or a stupid english paper so get over it. its going to happen. you might want to accept that and not make or add on to "stereotypes" because as of right now you are just making your OWN.

Stupid freshman story part 2: I go back to the same place that I got beer from the day before and a different Pakistani guy at the counter confiscates my fake. I may have a plan to steal it back though.

lol great plan :)

hahah good luck with that one

haha good story

haha (10char)

Wow try to help people and you get flamed.

Tutu: I'm in the school of engineering currently with a 3.4 GPA, my GPA for my last 3 semesters is a 3.7. I'm also graduating early this semester and plan on attending law school, we'll see what I get on my LSATs. I first drank when I was about 12, though not regularly till later in high school. I've never been to a police pricinct (it's spelt precinct btw). I have no arrest record, speeding tickets, or points on my license, and have successfully defended myself in court against both of the two parking violations I've been issued. Oh, and last summer I interned for a New Jersey Superior court criminal judge.

I created this thread as a service to help like-minded people get useful information. I agree that most Cornell students know some or all of this information, and I was providing it for those new incoming students who are unaware. As such tutu, I don't even see why you are bothering to read let alone post in a thread such as this. Clearly you are the one trying to show off you whiney troll fuc|<. Furthermore, if in the unlikely chance that I ever meet you in real life occurs, I will thoroughly kick your ass, because I'm sure you are a weak underdeveloped little b|tch. That said

Mallomar: I appreciate your defense of me except for the line about my myopic goals. Getting drunk and having a good time at night/on the weekends is hardly a goal as it is a way to spend leisurely time. Ask one of the dozens of fortune 500 CEO's or current/ex-presidents who I'm sure did or do suffer/enjoy some sort of substance abuse.

Plmok: I told you they would confiscate it :)
Grandma's is still open, it's located across from Sinbads/Level B, next to the shoe store and laundry mat. It's a little hole in the wall place, some sort of convenience store.

im bumping this thread back up. thought it'll be helpful

definitely, thanks for the help mrnova (if you even look at this anymore).

hahaha this is so old, but amusing nevertheless lol
