bump i think freshmen need to read this

the stuff is so funny to look back and read and know what he's talking about.

mrnova i had so much trouble with that guy at dino's! that huge guy, he's pene? he confiscated 2 of my friend's ids and he asks stupid questions that you wouldnt really think about like can i see your driver's license (that should be yours) or what year did you graduate. obviously hes the head guy bc whenever the other guys arent sure they hand your ids to pene and you're like ****ttt.

That's weird, dino's doesn't usually confiscate IDs and is relatively lenient. I get in there as a 26 year old Spanish girl who is 5"1...(I am none of the above). Were your friends being belligerent?

no one was asian with a hispanic person as her i.d. and i think he was just so ****ed from arguing with her that he took the next girls fake too

hahaha...a hispasian. yeah, your friends probably shouldn't argue with bouncers, they tend to quickly turn into power-tripping douchebags when ****ed off.

The worst ID check question i've ever seen is a bouncer asking one girl out of a pair what the other one's name was... the first girl seemed to be legit but had no clue what the second one's name was on her ID... happened in NYC

PS dino's has taken IDs in my experience

area code is a common question.

is all the info about the stores on the first page of this thread still true? i noticed this thread is old and places in my experience have gotten more 'id savvy' so if someone could testify if this info still holds true itd be great

No, the original guide is out of date. Some places don't even exist anymore. Perhaps an update is in order?

who would like to offer us an update??

Here's an update: Find someone who's 21 or go to frat parties. lol

altho I guess the 21 thing is harder for freshies isolated on north...

Bump.

There should really be a more definitive guide. Perhaps on on CUWiki?

Bumpity Bump Bump.

I've read this, but it was nice to get a bit of an update.

yea...are all those things mrnova said about convinience stores and bars still true ? has anything changed significantly ?
I know of a place that makes fake IDs in NYC that scan but not sure if its worth the price (more than a 100 bucks )
Also, I look pretty old(atleast 21)...is it a good idea to just go to go to a liquor store and try my luck or do they ID everyone?
I feel like i should pretend to be an immigrant from India and speak with an accent and show some fake ID from there to get booze...haha

I wouldn't try anything funny with the liquor stores. Northside Wine and Spirits is very strict...I'm 22 and they still give me a hard time. I used a fake ID once at Collegetown Liquor my sophomore year and it barely worked...

The fact that the liquor stores electronically shut the doors is pretty scary and funny...
anyways, do we have RAs in dorms because one of my friend in the summer school told me they did?

yes...there are RAs in the dorms.

forget about RA's, imagine running into the president skorton (he lives in Donlon the first week) in the hallway if you were really drunk.
