Hi CCers!

Just wanted to know how everyone is preparing for their ACT this saturday.

My plan is to do one section each night and then review for an hour or so.

btw is anyone skipping school to study friday?

You should really chill more the night before. I recall looking at a section I took prior to warm up for like 25 minutes then I proceeded to play xbox and watch youtube videos for the rest of my Friday.

I took a few practice tests. I’m not doing much to study for it. I might look at some stuff tomorrow.

^ Ditto.
Just a few practice tests.

A few practice tests? That’s like 8 hours, doesn’t seem like ‘not much’

I haven’t done any preparations. I looked through the practice test that I got when I signed up for the test, but aside from that, I haven’t done anything. I don’t know how to study for a standardized test. My friend and I are going to get breakfast and Starbucks the morning before our test though. I think that’ll be some nice preparation. : )

I’m not really studying…

I made stupid mistakes last time, so barring that, I should get the score I want (I hope…)

I haven’t been studying. Every day I have been procrastinating and the date is finally here. Tonight I’m going to run through a few practice tests, but I’m going to focus on the Math/Science sections as their my lowest scores.

I always THINK my timing on the English section is an issue, so I rush through it with about 20 minutes left and from the practice tests I have taken, I make errors from the rushing.

Math: I pick out the most difficult of problems and review their skills. There’s not really much I can do with it.

Science: Focusing more on time than trying to absorb the materials.

Good luck everyone taking their ACT tomorrow!
