@SoapyMango Nope. Deferred ED2, then RD accepted. Thank goodness too, because it’s great to have options.
LOL
@gdlt234 I’m not sure if I want to go to Berkeley. I’m strongly considering a small liberal arts school like Colby, Middlebury, or Franklin & Marshall. UC alumni have recounted horror stories to me about overly competitive students sabotaging each other. (That’s scary). I want to major in Pre-med so I’m afraid of this cutthroat and intense competition. My family wants me to attend UC Berkeley or UCLA. I feel that if I attend a liberal arts school instead of a UC, I’ll miss out on the abundance of research or internship opportunities. The decision between an LAC and a UC is difficult; I’m really at a loss here. I’m going to fly-ins to see the schools I mentioned, I guess I’ll decide then.
And my award package isn’t the best for UCB either, I’d say go regardless of the money. If you’re seeking a degree at the top public university in the country, then I think it’s worth it. Think about it, you can become a resident in one year and, hopefully, easy sailing from there!
