I seriously don’t understand what happened, but I’m happy because I got in one of my top choices, and they even meet my need so I’m all set to go. However, this is just odd.
No demonstrated interest for any of these schools. Bad idea, in hindsight. I only sent in my application. Never visited. I had interviews with Harvard and Brown though.

I am absolutely blown away that I got into Penn, and I somehow got lucky enough to be accepted into the two schools that I really cared about. Unfortunately, I still can’t decide where I want to go… For future students, essays matter!! The only thing that really changed on my app to Penn vs Emory/Vanderbilt/Duke besides the school supplements… was my common app essay.
I just got waitlisted by Syracuse, i will be attending Cornell next year!
